Here you will find a blend of Homegrown Southern Gospel mixed with plenty of sweet pure Carolina mountain music. They will truly bless your heart.

R E and Sandee Kempf introduced us to this wonderful group in the mid 90's at a little country church in Hayesville, NC.

The group consisted of Ron and Vickie Coker, Joe and Clayta Forrester, Willard Loftis, Steve Cothren    and Pastor Ricky Burrell.

Brother Ricky
died in a work related accident on July 7, 2009.
Family Circle Singers
Soon after our first encounter, they were booked locally with Southern Grace for a few singing's and people fell in love with them here in West Georgia. It wasn't long until churches in Georgia were booking them regularly year after year. They are probably best known for hosting the annuall "Singing in the Mountains" held at the Clay County Park on Chatuge Lake in Hayesville, NC. What a great time of singing, picking and eating we had each year! There was always a sweet spirit present among the hundred plus people who would attend.

While we have been in contact with Vickie Coker, as of yet, we have not received a copy of their cassette or bio to post. The music posted here was obtained through One Accord. This collection was included in the "Live Music" collection  that Brother Garnett Dale recorded while running the sound board for One Accord. I'm sure glad he was persistent and determined at each singing to get a recording. The music and singing he captured is a wonderful blessing here and at the One Accord "live recording" page.

In their background music we have included several "live recording" songs by Family Circle Singers and the last song we included is probably the only known recorded singing of the old blind mountain preacher, Brother Roscoe Spivey! We also have a short clip of Brother Roscoe preaching and encouraging the crowd before the singing started and have included a link above. There is also a link to the complete list of "live recorded" music by Family Circle Singers.
