Hope for Christmas provides toys & food for Christmas to over 10,000 people in NW Atlanta. Families come to a Christmas party where kids make a craft, see Santa and visit the Secret Santa Shop to select a gift for their parents. How Can I Help? To assist the 2,000 families expected to come for Hope for Christmas 2012 it will take approximately:
32,000 canned and boxed food items
2,000 turkeys
18,000 toys
6,000 gifts for the Secret Santa Shop
This is insurmountable for any one person or organization to provide on their own. We need everyone's help! Please review the list below and see how you, your family or your business may be able to play a part in meeting this tremendous need. Non-perishable FoodFor each family bag we need 2 cans each of green beans, corn, gravy, and yams; cranberry sauce; 2 boxes or bags of stuffing, cornbread mix, and macaroni & cheese; and brownie or cookie mix.
Secret Santa Shop Gift ItemsWe need new, unwrapped items for kids to shop for free gifts for their parents and grandparents. We need presents for both men and women. Suggested items for men include tools, fragrances, snack sets, gift cards, gloves, and wallets. Suggested items for women include fragrances, teas & coffees, bath & body supplies, decorative Items, specialty socks, stationary, and scarf & glove sets.
Toys for Birth - High School
We need new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls of all ages.
